Robust Structures built a parking garage with 550 parking spaces for the employees of Dredging International in Zwijndrecht. The building has four levels with a bicycle parking facility on the ground floor and a floor area of 2,900 m². Both the design and the on-site construction were carried out by Robust Structures.
The ascending and descending circulation in the parking garage is achieved by means of a carousel on the south side, which is equipped with electric lane heating. This ensures that the various levels remain safely accessible even during the winter months. In addition, the start of each ramp is equipped with an anti-slip floor coating to ensure the safety of employees. On the north side, the floors are constructed in a stepped pattern to avoid a high facade on the entrance side of the site. To complete the picture, Robust Structures has provided a green facade consisting of hanging vegetation.
