The 92-meter-high, 22-story building consists of offices, meeting rooms, and three floors of parking space. We took care of the entire package: detailed design, engineering, fabrication, assembly of the steel structure, and delivery and installation of the steel plate floors and hollow core slabs. In total, approximately 7,500 tons of steel were used in this project. Of the total amount of steel, 500 tons were made of a special type of steel with high strength properties, Histar 460.
The city office is located in the middle of the city center, which immediately presented a challenge for the logistics of this project. The building has 22 floors and a floor area of 60,000 m². The North and South Towers are connected by two bridge sections. Given the challenge of keeping the structure stable, we drew up a detailed step-by-step plan for the assembly of the building.
