We realised on behalf of N.V. Afvalverwerking Rijnmond (AVR) the renewal/expansion of the 5,000-square-metre transhipment terminal with a free span of 77 metres on the Uraniumkanaal in Utrecht. A three-dimensional truss of 80 metres long and 160 tonnes and a two-dimensional truss of 80 metres long and 80 tonnes were installed at the terminal.

Thanks to the new hall, Utrecht municipality's (residual) waste can now be transported sustainably and by water to AVR's waste and energy plant in Duiven.
