The Sloe power station in Vlissingen is not the first power station we have worked on. Throughout our history, we have contributed to the construction of most of the power stations in the Netherlands.
However, the construction of the Sloe power station took place within a very short time frame: in twelve months, the power station was completed, with its striking shape and bright green color. At the customer’s request, we took care of the design, manufacture, and on-site installation of the two units.
The steel structure for the main support structure, pipe racks, platforms, facade cladding, windows, and doors consists of 2,600 tons of steel. The complexity of this project lay in the simultaneous construction of the interior and exterior: the processes had to be fully coordinated.
