About our company
For many years, our employees have been proud of what we achieve together: outstanding steel construction projects such as the Ikea locations in Zwolle and Utrecht and the Indoor Skydive Center in Roosendaal. Robust Structures mainly operates nationwide on complex industrial construction, distribution centers and data centers, but also works on projects for the offshore and civil industries. On our large site of 3 hectares, engineering and production are carried out in house. Compassion, commitment and expertise are highly valued.

What will you do?
You translate technical drawings and specifications into accurate cost calculations, taking into account factors such as materials, labor costs and other relevant aspects. You request quotations for components or activities from suppliers and subcontractors. You visit construction sites, think along about project feasibility and propose alternative solutions.
In your role, you have frequent contact with colleagues and actively use each other’s knowledge. You are able to work independently but also enjoy being part of a team.
The ultimate goal of your work is to present the client with the best technical and commercial proposal, delivered in a high quality quotation.

• Depending on your preference, employment under either the uta collective labor agreement for construction or the Metalektro collective labor agreement
We are affiliated with both bpfBouw and fme.
• 27 plus 13 atv days off according to the Metalektro collective labor agreement, partly fixed
or
• 25 vacation days and 15 atv days per year. Of these, 5 vacation days and 5 atv days are paid out monthly as an individual budget via salary if you choose to fall under the construction and infrastructure collective labor agreement

What do you bring?
Our calculator is a skilled, responsible and enthusiastic professional with a completed technical mbo or bachelor degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering, and someone who:
• Works accurately and in a structured manner
• Has strong numerical skills and commercial insight
• Has a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Has excellent ms office skills, particularly excel and word

This strongly depends on the type of vacancy. We are always open to talent and motivation, and you are welcome to submit an open application. For some roles, specific diplomas or certificates are mandatory. If these requirements are clearly stated, applying without them is unfortunately not possible. When experience is listed as a plus rather than a requirement, we may still be interested even if you have less experience.
