Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will perform work on behalf of Robust Steel Structures B.V. and Robust Bouw B.V. in the Netherlands.

As a Project Manager at Robust Structures, you are responsible for leading and supervising major projects. This involves directing a project team, the project planning, project administration/documentation, procurement and work preparation, and you have final control over the projects entrusted to you.

What will you do?

At the start of each assignment, you put together your project team, of course in close consultation with the various departments. You are used to preparing your projects well by reading up on the various documentation available. During project execution, you naturally maintain constant contact with the client, including during construction meetings. You also ensure tight coordination and communication and monitor the coherence between all departments involved in the project, as you regularly hold internal project-related meetings.

With a good eye for figures, you can naturally explain the finances during the project in order to adjust the prognosis of the final result. In doing so, you understand the importance of monitoring the processes relevant to your project and make use of the KAM system.

Besides your main tasks, you are co-responsible for the development and policy of the department, you will act as Tender Manager in D&C(M) related tenders and you will be V&G coordinator for on-site assembly activities. Naturally, with your knowledge and experience, you also fulfil an important advisory role to the MT.

Who are we looking for?

Our Project Manager is a skilled, responsible results-oriented person who gets the job done with accuracy and decisiveness. In addition, you have a well-developed ability for planning and organising and can lead your team to success as a connecting leader.

You have an HBO/WO level (mechanical engineering/ business administration o.g.) and at least 5 years' experience in a similar position, with demonstrable relevant leadership skills. In addition, you are excellent in your oral and written communication in Dutch and English. A BHV certificate is definitely a plus.

What can you expect from us?

  • Direct employment with Robust Structures
  • An ample number of days off
  • Excellent working conditions and pension scheme
  • Depending on the employment, you will fall under the CAO Construction & Infra or the CAO Metalektro
  • We believe it is important to offer our colleagues the tools to keep knowledge levels up-to-date. Development opportunities are therefore negotiable, in addition to courses and training offered by the organisation.
